B&Q is seeking a Partnership Manager to own and grow a portfolio of advertisers from its Southampton Store Support Office. The role targets revenue growth through strategic agency partnerships and retail media campaigns. Hybrid working is offered, with a competitive rewards package including pension and ShareSave.

What's the job?

• Own and grow a portfolio of agency, near-endemic and non-endemic advertisers, delivering against ambitious revenue and growth targets.
• Identify, prospect and convert new business opportunities while growing investment from existing advertisers and agency partners.
• Build strategic account plans that align advertiser objectives with B&Q Media's audience and media capabilities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with brands, agencies and retail media teams, becoming a trusted commercial partner.
• Lead consultative sales conversations, creating compelling media solutions that deliver measurable results for advertisers.
• Manage pipeline performance, forecasting and opportunity tracking through Salesforce to ensure target achievement.
• Collaborate with agency partners and internal stakeholders to secure inclusion in media plans and unlock new revenue opportunities.
• Work closely with Planning, Media Operations and Campaign teams to develop and deliver impactful multi-channel campaigns.
• Use campaign insights and performance data to demonstrate value, drive renewals and grow long-term advertiser investment.
• Stay ahead of retail media trends, competitor activity and advertiser needs to help shape new commercial opportunities and proposition development.
• Represent B&Q Media externally through agency meetings, industry events and key partner engagements.

What We Need

• Proven experience in Retail Media, media sales, digital advertising, strategic partnerships, agency partnerships or a similar commercial environment.
• Good understanding of advertiser needs, agency media planning and buying processes, media channels and campaign measurement; Retail Media knowledge is highly desirable.
• Demonstrable success meeting or exceeding sales targets through consultative, value-based selling, alongside growing advertiser or agency relationships.
• Strong commercial acumen, with experience developing proposals, negotiating commercial agreements and converting opportunities.
• Ability to create account growth plans and manage a commercial pipeline with clear priorities and accurate updates.
• Experience using CRM tools, ideally Salesforce, to manage pipeline, opportunities and forecasting.
• Good understanding of advertiser needs, media channels and campaign measurement; Retail Media knowledge is highly desirable.
• Confident relationship-building, influencing and presentation skills across internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to use data, insight and campaign results to shape recommendations and support decision-making.
• Proven success proactively winning new advertiser or agency business, taking opportunities from prospecting and qualification through to securing investment.
