Overview

This is a remarkable opportunity to contribute to the growth of a rapidly expanding and unique organisation, the Institute of Art and Ideas (IAI). Described by the Guardian as 'the return to big thinking' and by Total Politics as 'Europe's answer to TED', the IAI puts on events throughout the year, including HowTheLightGetsIn, now the world's largest music and philosophy festival, and provides IAI.tv — a fast growing educational platform bringing big ideas to a global audience via cutting edge debates and talks involving leading thinkers, politicians, scientists and artists. Access to IAI.tv is provided via subscription direct to consumers as well as universities and schools across the globe.

Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic individual to expand access to IAI content through partnerships with organisations, patrons, and educational institutions. As a Partnership Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving the sales activity of the team, and for the delivery of partner activations around our dynamic events programme and our digital awareness campaigns. In addition to developing new partnerships, you will also be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with our existing subscription partners, ensuring continued engagement and long-term collaboration.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in fundraising, or originating sales and/or partnerships with a track record of success
  • Experience managing a team is an advantage
  • Commercial mindset; ambitious, goal-oriented; strong interpersonal skills
  • Keen and lively interest in the IAI’s content and events programmes
  • Strong educational background (min. 2.1) from a top university
