Job summary

Loughborough University is seeking a Partnership Development Associate to join the Knowledge Transfer Partnerships team within the Research & Innovation Office on a full-time, open-ended contract with hybrid working available.

You will work with academic, public, private and voluntary sector partners to scope, plan and manage KTPs, including funding applications, contracts, progress meetings and final reporting, contributing to the university’s collaborative research and innovation ambitions.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and securing Knowledge Transfer Partnerships or similar funding.
• Excellent communication and ability to build relationships with academics, businesses, funders and other stakeholders.
• Highly organised, proactive, able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Scope, plan and manage projects leading to development and implementation of processes, products and services for partners.
• Manage full life cycle of Knowledge Transfer Projects: draft funding applications, recruitment, contracts, progress meetings and final reporting.
• Be a member of the Partnership Development Team in the Research & Innovation Office.
