Job summary

A leading consultancy firm is seeking a Partner Tax Compliance - Assistant Manager. This role includes dealing with tax compliance for partners, preparing taxable profit calculations, and communicating with HMRC. Ideal candidates will have ATT qualifications, a strong background in personal tax compliance, and excellent communication skills. Flexible working arrangements can be discussed.

Base Location: Watford plus network of 20 offices nationally

What will you be doing?:

  • Dealing with 900 partners - be a key member of the team handling tax returns and ensuring partners' tax compliance obligations are being met.
  • Working with the Senior Manager on Partnership Tax aspects, alongside other Assistant Managers.
  • Preparation of partner split of taxable profit calculations.
  • Dealing with all aspects of the self-assessment tax compliance process for partners, including increased compliance resulting from basis period reform.
  • Communicating with HMRC regarding partners' tax affairs.
  • Considering UK partner compliance considerations arising from increased global mobility.
  • Supporting partners with their tax affairs at each stage of the partner lifecycle.
  • Ad hoc advice on partner-related issues.

What will you need to do it?:

  • ATT qualified with experience in private clients and with a strong background in personal tax compliance.
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills, takes personal responsibility and accountability for own work.
