Responsibilities
Your responsibilities as a Partner Solution Architect will include:
- Design Cloud Architectures - Ensure robust, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure tailored to partner needs, allowing businesses to handle growth and changing demands efficiently.
- Lead Architectural Design Sessions - Facilitate the creation of effective and efficient cloud solutions through collaborative planning and design sessions, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
- Develop Proof of Concepts and Pilots - Demonstrate the feasibility and benefits of proposed cloud solutions, gaining partner buy-in and driving adoption. Validate ideas and identify potential issues before full-scale implementation to save time and resources.
- Provide Technical Guidance and Support - Ensure successful implementation and optimization of cloud solutions, enhancing partner satisfaction and solution performance, to maximize the value of partner cloud investments and adapt efficiently to challenges.
- Transition Partners from Legacy Systems - Facilitate smooth transitions to modern cloud environments, improving efficiency and reducing operational risks for partners, helping them stay competitive by leveraging the latest technologies and cloud best practices.
- Partner Enablement and Business Acumen - Guide the broader technical team to ensure technical pre-sales, deployment, and consumption are integrated into solution development efforts. Coach partners on building resilience to technical issues, discussing Microsoft products, and articulating the value proposition of Microsoft Cloud services by understanding business processes and identifying opportunities where technology can drive business value. Translate technical concepts into business benefits.
- Collaborate with the Microsoft Ecosystem - Work closely with the PSS and PDM sales roles to drive positive outcomes aligned with Microsoft strategy across the UK & I area.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting.
- OR equivalent experience.
- OR master's degree in related fields with technical consulting, sales, or product development experience.
- Extensive experience in technology IP solutions or services development with a focus on digital transformation, cloud platforms, and emerging trends like generative AI and SaaS.
Preferred:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft's cloud offerings (Azure, Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365).
- Minimum L300 knowledge on Fabric, Azure AI platform, Datalake and Lakehouse architecture, Cosmos DB.
- Skills in whiteboarding solutions for modern data platforms.
