The Role

A leading Legal 500 law firm are offering an outstanding opportunity for a Senior Lawyer or Partner to join its expanding Marine team.

This national role can be based in any of the firm’s offices across the UK, offering excellent flexibility and hybrid working options.

You will work alongside an existing Partner to lead and develop a resilient, varied insurance litigation practice, advising insurers and blue chip clients on complex, and often high profile disputes.

Your role will include procedural matters, supervising junior fee earners, and actively contributing to business development to drive the team’s continued growth.

The Candidate

• Existing Partner, Principal Associate, or Legal Director
• Portable book not essential but advantageous
• Take the lead on marketing and business development strategies, with a focus on attracting new clients and expanding the firm’s reach
• Strong commercial acumen with a clear drive to grow a legal practice
• Proven track record in insurance litigation from a leading city or national firm
• Enthusiastic about business development and professional growth
• Build a strong personal profile and actively promote the team through networking, online presence, and direct client engagement
