Reuters News Agency is seeking a Partnership Operations Specialist to help manage our portfolio of world-class content partners, e.g., BBC, EFE, and Newsflare. The Partnership Operations Specialist is responsible for onboarding new partners, nurturing existing ones, and managing the operational work of the partner team. This role will be instrumental in driving day-to-day administrative activities to deliver our content partner strategy, focusing on bringing new archives and extending existing content partnerships to include transactional sales.

Our business is truly global. Our partners are diverse content creators located worldwide, including Silicon Valley, Istanbul, Tokyo, and beyond. They include broadcast television news networks, animators, and boutique content creators. Our existing partners are as dynamic as we are, and changes often present unexpected challenges and opportunities. The person in this role must be flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.

About the Role:

As a Partnership Operations Specialist at Thomson Reuters, you will:

  1. Manage the end-to-end partner operational experience, from signing new content agreements to ensuring their commercial success with Reuters.
  2. Collaborate closely with our Partner Development Lead to identify growth opportunities and support operational needs.
  3. Manage and onboard new partners, including routine check-ins to ensure operational setup is effective, educating and integrating partners into Reuters and the Connect platform.
  4. Act as a primary contact for daily partner operational management, handling queries like content deletion, copyright issues, and other changes, ensuring tracking and escalation as needed.
  5. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance partner operations.
  6. Work cross-functionally with Legal, Product, Technology, and Customer Support to optimize operational practices.
  7. Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, and Commercial Policy teams to support partner go-to-market strategies.

About You:

To succeed as our Partnership Operations Specialist, you will likely have:

  • Strong ethics and effective communication skills, both written and verbal, as trust is fundamental in our partner program. You will be the first point of contact for most partners and need to handle queries confidently.
  • Experience in partner management, account management, or customer success is preferable.
  • Excellent prioritization and multi-tasking skills.
  • A self-starter, goal-oriented, able to work independently.
  • Detail-oriented and accountable for your work.
  • A genuine interest in the news industry, archives, documentaries, and understanding global trends and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
