Amazon is currently looking for a highly motivated, forward-thinking Transportation Carrier Manager to join the Transportation team.

The role is a critical function within Amazon EU Operations, focused on improving service levels, capacities, and costs of the EU Transportation Line Haul to meet customer promises.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Track existing metrics to detect & remove defects
  2. Manage line haul performance (e.g., on-time truck performance)
  3. Implement continuous improvement initiatives
  4. Coach, educate, and facilitate growth relationships with transport partners
  5. Support contract management and compliance
  6. Plan and execute Q4 peak operations
  7. Support Operations Planning processes and goal setting
  8. Participate in business reviews, QBRs, and customer service workshops
  9. Maintain communication and interfaces with fulfillment centers and partners
  10. Develop relationships with partners to identify new opportunities

To succeed, you should be passionate about data-driven decisions impacting customer experience, with transportation experience in management, planning, compliance, or performance. Effective communication skills, flexibility, and adaptability to new tools are essential in our fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

The Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team is vital for Amazon’s success, utilizing air, sea, and road transport, along with advanced sortation centers, to maximize efficiency. Our team leverages data to drive decisions, focusing on safety, innovation, and sustainability to deliver packages quickly and reliably.

  • Transport CPC Qualification
