About the Role:
As a Partner, you will be responsible for managing key client relationships, originating and leading strategic engagements, and developing a high-performing consulting team. You will collaborate with regional and global leadership to bring innovative solutions to pharmaceutical, biotech, and medtech clients in Japan.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive business development and revenue growth across the life sciences portfolio
Lead large-scale strategy, digital transformation, and commercial innovation projects
Build and mentor a team of consultants in the Japan office
Serve as a trusted advisor to C-level clients across healthcare sectors
Contribute to global thought leadership and service offering development
Ideal Candidate Profile:
15+ years of experience in life science consulting, with a strong network in Japan’s healthcare industry
Demonstrated success in growing key accounts and delivering senior-level engagements
Deep expertise in areas such as commercial strategy, R&D transformation, market access, or digital health
Strong leadership, team-building, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Native-level Japanese and fluent English
Advanced degree in life sciences, business, or related field (MBA, MD, or PhD preferred)
