Job description

Development/Investment Partner £70,000 - £80,000 + benefits package

Location: London, Cambridge, or Birmingham - Hybrid

Our client is a National firm with a multi-disciplinary offering. This role will include a mix of development advice, disposals, Red Book investment valuations, and Charities Act reports.

The Charities team provides consultancy, valuation, and agency advice to a wide range of charities, primarily to faith-based organisations as a specialism.

The role presents an exciting opportunity to join this growing team, with exposure to a wide range of instructions. The main responsibilities will include:

  1. Drafting formal valuations for charities in connection with audit and accounting procedures, including Red Book valuations;
  2. Providing specialist advice to clients on aspects of charity property disposal within Designated Advisors Reports;
  3. Assisting the team with agency disposals;
  4. Supporting the Landlord and Tenancy function including placing new tenants and rent reviews;
  5. Drafting assessments to advise clients on development opportunities;
  6. Producing detailed residual valuation models on Argus Developer would be an advantage;
  7. Developing and managing existing client relationships, including growing new areas of business;
  8. Assisting the team in achieving targets and growing the business line.

Person Specification:

  1. MRICS qualified;
  2. Ideally RICS Registered Valuer or Valuation Competency (APC) to Level 3;
  3. Experience of providing residential development valuation advice;
  4. Ideally good working knowledge of Argus Developer;
  5. Good report writing and communication skills;
  6. A high degree of IT literacy is essential;
  7. Clean driving licence.
