LOCATION:

The Partner Growth Manager (French) is a remote, work-from-home position, as are all positions at Acceleration Partners (a structure central to our culture and our vision to change the work/life paradigm). Candidates need to reside in the UK or Germany. Some travel is required for client meetings, internal meetings, conferences, etc. Candidates must hold a valid passport, be able to travel internationally, and speak fluent French.

THE ROLE:

Acceleration Partners is accepting applications for an exciting new role within our Strategic Territory Growth department. We seek an experienced Partner Growth Manager with business development and account management experience to support this new department, focusing on the French affiliate space. The person will join client calls to pitch high-value opportunities, provide strategic insights, track progress towards goals, and proactively manage the top 10 partners for their clients. A proactive, action-oriented approach and effective questioning skills are critical in this role.

TOP 5 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client Revenue:

  • Publisher Performance: Contribute to the overall revenue goals of the Growth & Partnerships department by developing high-potential relationships and optimizing publishers through paid placements, commission increases, and product reviews.
  • Performance and Placement Trackers: Regularly update relationship and placement trackers with partnership details, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  • Subject Matter Expert in Client Verticals and Partner Relationships: Serve as a trusted resource with expertise in managed client verticals, leading conversations to share knowledge across the organization.

Business Development and Publisher Relationships:

  • Proactive Research: Identify new high-quality partnerships and opportunities based on client needs, industry trends, and data sources like SimilarWeb.
  • Communication Skills: Comfortable with cold outreach; communicate clearly and engagingly; ask relevant questions to vet opportunities; manage daily communication with top publishers independently 95% of the time.
  • Initiative: Demonstrate a track record of identifying and executing opportunities to optimize programs and drive revenue growth.

Top 10 Partner Management:

  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with top publishers, viewing yourself as an extension of the client’s business.
  • Budget Management: Identify opportunities to grow client revenue while maintaining healthy ROI.
  • Time Management: Exhibit exceptional calendar and time management skills to handle your responsibilities effectively.

Strategy and Execution:

  • Alignment to Client Strategy and Goals: Participate in kickoff and ongoing client calls; ask questions; understand KPIs and objectives.
  • Strategy Creation and Ownership: Develop recruitment and paid placement strategies, execute campaigns, negotiate terms, and manage communication independently 95% of the time.
  • Strategy Pivots: Adapt strategies as needed to meet client goals; communicate effectively when goals are unrealistic, setting new expectations as necessary.

Pitching Opportunities:

  • Persuasiveness: Demonstrate curiosity and challenge the status quo; pitch innovative opportunities supported by data and metrics.
  • Publisher and Client Knowledge: Maintain high knowledge across publisher verticals; address client questions and identify opportunities confidently.
  • Tenacity: Investigate objections thoroughly; push back diplomatically; suggest alternatives based on comprehensive publisher and portfolio knowledge.

QUALITIES OF THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Strong aptitude for identifying digital strategies in the French market.
  • Ability to develop new relationships quickly, recruiting brand-to-brand and unique partners.
  • Self-starter with internal motivation to meet targets.
  • Experience working with small and medium businesses, understanding their challenges.
  • Proven knowledge of performance and acquisition marketing.
  • Experience managing complex partnerships and navigating organizational decisions.
  • Track record of success in sales and stakeholder management.

  • Excellent communication skills for engaging senior stakeholders and partners.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Fluent in French and familiar with the French market.
  • 4+ years in business development, account management, or related roles.
  • Experience working with small businesses in sales or account management.
  • Proven achievement of goals and targets.
  • Experience in performance marketing, especially affiliate marketing, preferred.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills; persuasive and detail-oriented.
  • Comfortable with client presentations and fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working remotely and in office environments is a plus.
