Partner Development Manager, EMEA, AWS Strategic Alliance Lead

About the Role

The Partner Development Manager for Amazon Web Services (AWS) will lead Splunk’s long-term EMEA-wide GTM strategy, engagement, and sales execution plan with our largest global cloud alliance partner across Europe, Middle East & Africa. This role is part of the EMEA Partner organization leadership team.

You will build, drive, own, and execute the business plan to grow Splunk’s business through the AWS alliance across the EMEA region. You will act as the virtual leader of the EMEA AWS Cloud Service Provider (CSP) Route-To-Market (RTM) team to expand our AWS alliance, explore new use-cases, and reach new customers to increase revenue.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Splunk’s EMEA GTM partnership strategy with AWS, including engagement plans, execution, and alignment of GTM functions.
  • Engage with Splunk and AWS executives to launch co-selling initiatives that drive business growth for both companies and their partners.
  • Build a cohesive team with regional and technical counterparts, focusing on pipeline generation and business development.
  • Expand relationships with AWS sales, partner, technical, and alliance teams; own EMEA-wide QBRs.
  • Coordinate go-to-market activities with regional partner teams and manage alliance performance metrics.
  • Drive AWS to develop qualified pipeline opportunities leading to incremental bookings for Splunk.
  • Collaborate with Partner Marketing to develop collateral and resources for sales enablement and customer engagement.
  • Support regional AWS/Splunk events and optimize participation across EMEA.
  • Maximize the effectiveness of AWS and Splunk programs, including Partnerverse, Marketplace, and incentive programs.
  • Identify tools and process improvements to scale business growth.
  • Establish engagement and communication plans with both Splunk and AWS teams.
  • Prepare and deliver business reviews to senior management.
  • Meet and exceed revenue and business targets.
Minimum Requirements
  • At least 5 years of recent, detailed experience with AWS or similar hyperscale cloud providers; 8+ years preferred.
  • Over 10 years of experience in software and/or SaaS companies.
  • Extensive experience managing virtual teams across functions and geographies.
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills.
  • Sales experience is preferred.
  • Proven ability to build revenue-generating relationships.
  • Self-motivated, positive, and adaptable professional capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong strategic and creative problem-solving skills, with a hands-on approach to strategy execution.
  • Willingness to embrace change and contribute to overall company success.
  • Location: London/UK preferred.
  • Travel up to 50% as needed.
