Job summary

Orwins is growing its national practice and we are looking for an experienced banking and finance lawyer to join us at partner level and help establish what will be a significant part of our commercial offering. This role combines leadership of a dedicated practice with hands-on transaction work across lenders, borrowers and other financial stakeholders.

You will work collaboratively with property, insolvency and corporate teams and contribute to the firm’s growth strategy.

Qualifications

Qualified banking and finance lawyer with substantial transaction experience.
Established or developing client base in real estate or acquisition finance.
Willingness to lead and build a national banking and finance practice.

Responsibilities

Build and lead the firm's banking and finance practice.
Advise lenders, borrowers, funds and other financial parties on secured and unsecured lending transactions.
Handle real estate finance, development finance, acquisition finance and asset-based lending transactions.
Collaborate with property, corporate and insolvency teams on banking and finance matters.
Develop and grow a banking and finance client base to support firm growth.
