Job summary

Missing People seeks a Participation and Research Manager to lead the organisation’s participation work with families, children and adults affected by missing, embedding voice, participation and co-production across the charity. You will oversee consultation and research with those affected and lead related projects.

Based in the UK, the role focuses on lived experience, research methods, and cross-team collaboration to achieve meaningful impact while upholding safeguarding and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Develop and implement participation approaches embedding user-led practice across the organisation.
• Design and conduct research co-production with people affected by missing.
• Strong qualitative and quantitative methods for vulnerable groups.

Responsibilities

• Embed a culture centering people with lived experience in all work.
• Increase capacity to involve lived experience participants across programmes.
• Lead and deliver research and evaluation projects, including co-produced work.
• Coordinate cross-organisational lived experience participation and best practices.
