Job summary

Bitterne CE Primary School in Southampton is seeking a part-time Year 3 Class Teacher to join us from January 2027, covering maternity leave for two terms. The role is 3 days per week, working in a job-share with a partner to provide a consistent experience for pupils.

We value enthusiastic teaching, high expectations, inclusive practice and strong teamwork. You will work with Year 3 and the KS2 team to plan, assess and celebrate progress within our caring, Christian ethos.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) and eligibility to teach in the UK.
• Experience in Year 3 or KS2 teaching.
• Ability to work in a job-share arrangement.

Responsibilities
