Part-Time Year 1 Teacher - Hillingdon Primary School - September 2025 Start
Pertemps Education is working in partnership with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Hillingdon to recruit a Part-Time Year 1 Teacher for a September 2025 start.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher to join a supportive school community on a part-time basis. The role will be from Wednesday to Friday, delivering high-quality teaching and learning to a well-behaved and enthusiastic Year 1 class.
Please note: This role is not suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

Location: Hillingdon
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Part-Time (Wednesday to Friday)
Salary: M3 - UPS3 + Outer London Allowance (Pro Rata)

About the Role:
  • Teach a Year 1 class on a part-time basis (Wednesday to Friday)
  • Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum
  • Foster a positive, supportive classroom environment
  • Use assessment data effectively to personalise learning and support pupil progress
  • Work collaboratively with the Year 1 team to ensure continuity and consistency
  • Communicate effectively with parents and staff

The Ideal Candidate Will:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have recent experience teaching in Key Stage 1
  • Be confident delivering phonics and early literacy development
  • Demonstrate strong planning, assessment, and behaviour management skills
  • Be organised, reflective, and committed to high-quality teaching
  • Be a team player who contributes positively to school life
