Job summary

YardandGroom near Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, is seeking a reliable and hardworking person to join our private competition yard. The role is two days per week, including one weekend day, performing general day-to-day yard duties.

Responsibilities include mucking out, feeding, grooming and caring for horses, and keeping the yard clean and tidy. Previous experience with horses is essential, and familiarity with handling fit competition horses is valued.

Job description

We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking person to join our small, private competition yard near Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire.

Set within 50 acres of beautiful countryside, our yard benefits from excellent facilities and a friendly, relaxed but professional working environment.

The position is for two days per week, including one weekend day, undertaking general day-to-day yard duties.

Duties include:

• Mucking out, feeding, haying and general yard duties.
• Grooming and caring for horses.
• Keeping the yard clean and tidy.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, practical, has a positive attitude and takes pride in their work.

Previous experience working with horses is essential, and applicants must be confident handling fit competition horses. Experience working on a competition yard would be an advantage, but is not essential.

Good rate of pay, with cash payment available.
