Job summary

The Range is recruiting a part-time Warehouse Assistant at our Preston location. You will support the Warehouse Supervisor to ensure goods in/out procedures run smoothly and in line with company rules.

You will help check deliveries and keep paperwork tidy and timely. Responsibilities include stamping notes, updating shortages/overs on delivery day, maintaining precise goods locations, and following safety procedures to protect staff and customers.

Qualifications

• Must be able to check deliveries quickly and accurately.
• Must stamp, date and sign delivery notes.
• Good paperwork discipline and timeliness.
• Be able to complete shortages/overs reports the day of delivery.
• Maintain accurate goods location and follow procedures.
• Demonstrate safe working practices and protect customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Check deliveries quickly and accurately.
• Stamp, date and sign delivery notes.
• Complete all relevant paperwork neatly and on time.
• Complete shortages and overs reports on the day of delivery.
• Ensure accuracy of goods location.
• Follow company procedures and work safely.
• Satisfy store requirements in a fast and responsive way.
• Ensure stock is handled with care at all times.
• Licence for reach/counterbalance is preferred.
