Job summary

The Range in Wakefield (Beck Retail Park, Ings Road) is seeking a part-time Warehouse Assistant to support the goods in/out process and assist the Warehouse Supervisor. You will check deliveries, stamp and sign delivery notes, and keep paperwork neat and on time.

Role requires attention to accuracy, safe handling of stock, and ability to follow procedures. A reach or counterbalance licence is preferred and the team values reliability and speed in daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Ability to check deliveries quickly and accurately.
• Stamp, date and sign all delivery notes.
• Complete all relevant paperwork neatly and in a timely manner.
• Complete shortages and overs reports on the day of delivery.
• Ensure accuracy of goods location.
• Follow company procedures and work safely at all times.
• Meet store requirements in a fast and responsive way.
• Handle all stock with care at all times.
• A valid reach and/or counterbalance licence is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Warehouse Supervisor in ensuring goods in/out procedures run to policy.
• Support accurate stock locations and documentation across shifts.
• Maintain safety and efficiency in warehouse operations to protect customers and staff.
