Blue Cross is seeking a Retail Warehouse Assistant to support our logistics and retail hub in Hartlebury. This part-time role is 7 hours per week, with shifts between 8:30am and 5pm, and involves lifting, sorting deliveries, and preparing items for the shop network and ecommerce team.

You’ll unpack, quality-check stock, and help ensure orders go out accurately while working closely with volunteers. The role suits someone active, reliable, and keen to contribute to our animal welfare mission.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written instructions, stock information and agreed processes accurately.
• Good attention to detail, with the ability to identify and report stock discrepancies or damaged goods.
• Ability to undertake practical warehouse duties, including the safe movement and handling of stock.
• Ability to work independently and contribute effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable and organised approach to completing routine tasks.
• Ability to demonstrate, understand and apply Blue Cross values and behaviours.

Responsabilités

• Unpacking and safely sorting incoming deliveries and quality checking stock.
• Preparing items for shop network or e-commerce team in great condition.
• Lifting, shifting and organizing pallets and storage bays to keep the workspace safe and running.
• Loading delivery vans and supporting the New Goods Buyer with volunteers.
• Ensuring smooth movement from arrival to dispatch.
