Goddard Veterinary Group in Brentwood, Essex, is seeking a part-time veterinary surgeon to join our busy first opinion practice. You will share duties across Shenfield and Gidea Park, gaining a varied caseload with surgery, ultrasound and laser facilities.

Expect a 3-day week with some hospital exposure and 1:4 Saturday, 1:8 Sunday rotations, plus bank holidays. We offer a competitive salary band (£45,000–£72,000 FTE for 40 hours), generous leave, relocation help, CPD budget and private medical

Formación

• Must be a qualified veterinary surgeon with confidence in routine GP work.
• Experience in a busy first opinion practice is advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and follow protocols.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out consultations and provide evidence-based management plans.
• Perform GP surgery within personal competence and scope.
• Prescribe and dispense medications in line with current guidelines.
• Record accurate clinical notes and maintain pet histories.
• Refer complex cases timely to GVG Hospital when needed.
• Foster a respectful and collaborative team environment.
