Job summary

Chattyvets in Greater Manchester is seeking an experienced Part Time Veterinary Surgeon to join an independent small animal practice. The role offers flexibility, autonomy, and the chance to build long-term client relationships while working in a supportive environment.

You will work 2-3 days per week (9:00am-6:30pm) with 1:2 Saturdays, primarily sole charge, handling consults and routine operations and taking ownership of your caseload.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ post-qualification experience.
• Confident with consults and surgical procedures.
• Comfortable working independently and making clinical decisions.
• Excellent communicator with strong client care skills.

Responsibilities

• Sole charge work with independent caseload management.
• A mix of consultations and routine procedures.
• Take ownership of your caseload and clinical decisions.
• Occasional weekend cover as needed (1:2 Saturdays).
