Job summary

Bath Vet Group is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our well‑established, supportive team in a part‑time role.

This first‑opinion GP position covers a varied caseload including routine consultations and some surgery, with three days per week plus a 1 in 8 weekend rota. The role is based across our Bath branches and Rosemary Lodge hospital, offering excellent client care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS.
• Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Proactive approach to learning and development.

Responsibilities

• See the first‑opinion caseload, including routine surgery and consults.
• Work across Rosemary Lodge Hospital and branch surgeries.
• Three days per week plus a 1 in 8 weekend rota, averaging 30.5 hours per week.
