Job summary

Camlas Petcare Vets in Welshpool is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse on a fixed-term basis until August 2027. The role is part-time, 19.69 hours across Monday, Tuesday, and one in four Saturdays, with a competitive salary depending on experience.

You will run nurse consults, assist with anaesthesia, provide inpatient care, and support a friendly team in a first-opinion small animal practice. CVS offers generous CPD, RCVS fees paid, and career development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Running nurse consults and clinics
• Preparing for ops and monitoring anaesthesia during surgeries
• Delivering high-quality inpatient care
• Covering the reception area to greet clients and schedule appointments
• Be passionate about delivering exceptional care to patients and their owners
• Support the outcome of patients care in all aspects of clinical work as part of the team
• Ensure quality is maintained by keeping the practice in excellent condition
