Job summary

Halfords is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our Grantham Autocentre. You’ll carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards and provide a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair work, from diagnostics to routine servicing, always upholding the highest quality and safety.

This part-time role is 30 hours per week with a base salary of £25,900 per year. Benefits include generous annual leave, staff discounts, pension and health options.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Valid MOT Testing Licence is required.
• Full driving licence with no more than 9 points.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards.
• Perform a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair work.
• Ensure all jobs are done to high safety and quality standards.
