Job summary

Dundee and Angus College is seeking a Part-time Variable Lecturer in Hairdressing based at Kingsway Campus, Old Glamis Road, Dundee. The role supports our hairdressing course provision with flexible hours and variable teaching commitments.

You will need SVQ Level 3 or HNC in Hairdressing (or equivalent) and current industry experience. IT skills are an advantage to develop and support curriculum delivery, with a closing date in early October 2026 and interviews planned in October.

Hours: Variable
Salary Range: £23.85 - £28.71 per hour plus preparation and marking allowance and holiday pay
Campus: Kingsway Campus, Old Glamis Road, Dundee, DD3 8LE
We are looking to add to our supply of Part-Time Variable lecturing staff in Hairdressing to support our course provision in these subject areas.

You are required to be educated to SVQ Level 3 or HNC in Hairdressing or hold an equivalent qualification in the subject area(s) and have current, relevant industry experience. It will be an advantage if applicants have good IT skills, to develop and support the curriculum delivery.

Closing date for receipt of completed applications isMonday 5 October 2026.

Interviews will take place at Kingsway Campus and are scheduled for Wednesday 21 and Wednesday 28 October 2026.
