Job summary

PK Education are recruiting for an Unqualified Teacher to work on a part-time supply basis in schools across Rotherham from September 2026. This role is ideal for someone with solid classroom experience who does not yet hold QTS but is confident taking responsibility for a class.

You’ll deliver lessons across KS3 and KS4, follow pre-planned schemes, manage behaviour and support students with the work provided, rather than simply supervising.

Qualifications

• Previous classroom or substantial education experience.
• Confidence leading lessons independently.
• Strong behaviour management.
• Good subject knowledge.
• Reliable and professional approach.
• Availability for part-time supply work.

Salary: £100–£120 per day, dependent on experience

PK Education are working with secondary schools across Rotherham who are looking for an Unqualified Teacher to work on a part-time supply basis from September.

This would suit someone with solid classroom experience who does not currently hold QTS but is confident taking responsibility for a class. The role could be particularly well suited to an experienced Cover Supervisor, overseas-trained teacher, graduate with classroom experience, or someone working towards teacher training.

You'll be expected to deliver lessons, manage behaviour and support students with the work provided, rather than simply supervise the class.
