Job summary

Portfolio Payroll Limited are partnering with a national business to recruit a part-time Payroll Administrator for a 9-month contract.

You will support the Payroll Manager across the employee lifecycle, collaborating with Finance and HR to ensure end-to-end payroll processing, compliance, and pensions administration in the UK. The role requires proven UK payroll experience, knowledge of UK payroll rules, and relevant qualifications (CIPP or equivalent) alongside intermediate MS Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience of successfully processing UK payroll.
• Working knowledge of UK payroll rules and how to apply them to maintain compliance.
• Experience of processing medium to large payrolls (e.g. 900 on UK Payroll).
• Experience of administering pensions, essential for this role.
• CIPP qualified, or equivalent payroll qualification, with intermediate MS Excel skills.

• Support the Payroll Manager with payroll activities across the employee lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Finance and HR teams to deliver payroll processes from start to finish.
