Job Title: Part Time Tutors (All Subjects)

Salary Range: £110 - £175 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start: Immediate
Contract: Daily Supply, Long-Term

Join Our Team of Passionate Part-Time Tutors and Make a Real Impact — One Student at a Time!

GSL Education seeks a dedicated and knowledgeable Part-Time Tutor across all subjects to support students in small group or 1:1 setting in Carlisle. Whether you specialise in Maths, English, Science, Humanities, Languages, or beyond, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Support Individual Learning: Help implement personalised learning plans.
• Provide Targeted Support: Offer 1:1 and small group assistance tailored to student needs.
• Monitor Progress: Track student development and adjust support as required.
• Collaborate with Staff and Families: Work closely with teachers, support teams, and parents/carers.
• Create a Positive Environment: Help build a space where students feel safe, respected, and encouraged.
• Engage Learners: Use a variety of strategies to maintain student interest and adapt to different learning styles.
• Keep Accurate Records: Maintain documentation of student progress and share insights with staff.

Requirements:

• A degree in your specialist subject or related field (essential).
• Teaching or tutoring experience (school-based or private) preferred.
• Strong subject knowledge and an ability to simplify complex concepts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to commit to regular sessions during school hours or after-school.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
• Competitive daily rates of £110 - £175 (dependent on experience).
• Supportive consultancy from a friendly, experienced team who are with you every step of the way.
