Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust in Wimborne Minster is seeking an experienced scrub Theatre practitioner for a busy Day Surgery Unit to join the dedicated Theatre team delivering elective care.

This part-time post (25 hours weekly) involves assisting with surgical procedures across Orthopaedics, ENT, Gynaecology and General surgery, equipment management, and adherence to infection prevention standards.

Qualifications

• Experienced scrub Theatre practitioner in a Day Surgery Unit.
• Delivers safe patient care throughout the perioperative journey.
• Assists with surgical procedures across Orthopaedics, ENT, Gynaecology and General surgery.
• Requires Enhanced DBS check and right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship not available).

Responsibilities

• Assisting in equipment management, stock control and ensuring compliance with infection prevention standards.
• Participating in clinical audits, data collection and driving improvements in theatre practice.
• Contributing to smooth, safe and high quality theatre operations.
• Support and collaboration with the theatre team to deliver elective care.
