Job summary

Nuffield Health Exeter Hospital is seeking a Bank Theatre Practitioner to join the theatre team on a part-time, ad-hoc basis. You will work as a Scrub Practitioner (ODP) with a strong focus on perioperative care, patient safety and excellent communication.

We offer up to £25 per hour, flexible hours, and access to a benefits package including pension and gym discounts. Registration with NMC/HCPC is required and prior theatre scrub experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Registered with NMC or HCPC and post-registration theatre scrub experience.
• Experience in scrub roles within a theatre environment.
• Team player with strong communication and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Work in a multidisciplinary team covering a varied patient caseload.
• Use state-of-the-art theatre equipment and facilities.
• Supervise and develop junior team members.
• Provide high-quality perioperative care in a multidisciplinary team.
• Create high-quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective.
• Opportunities for Surgical First Assist training and personal growth.
