Temporary Part-Time Nanny Boughton, Chester (Baby Experience Essential)

Location: Boughton, Chester

Salary: £20 gross per hour

Happy Nest Nanny & Maternity Agency is seeking a nurturing and experienced part-time nanny to support a lovely family in Boughton, Chester, caring for their 6-week-old baby. This is a temporary position with regular hours throughout May and June, with occasional ad hoc support required beyond that.

Hours:

  • May: Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays: 7:00am-12:00pm or 8:00am-1:00pm

June:

  • Support on an ad hoc basis as needed

About the Role:

This role is ideal for a kind, capable nanny with baby experience. The baby is in the early stages of development, including feeding, responding to sound and movement, and beginning to enjoy songs and interaction. The family follows a gentle, attentive parenting style and seeks a nanny who is responsive, calm, and engaging.

Mum works from home as an artist, and dad is a professional golfer. The nanny will support during mornings to allow mum time to rest or work uninterrupted.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full newborn care: feeding, bottle preparation and sterilisation, nappy changes
  • Gentle engagement: singing, soothing, supporting early developmental play (e.g., tummy time)
  • Attentive, caring interaction
  • Light household duties when the baby is asleep: laundry, washing bottles, tidying the kitchen

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience including baby experience
  • Enhanced DBS certificate
  • Paediatric First Aid certification
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Strong references
  • Professional, kind, and confident in sole charge

Driving is not required. The home is tidy and calm, with no pets or other household staff besides a cleaner.
