Part-Time Technical Director of Football

Organisation: Casual Ballerz CIC
Salary: £80 - £100 per week
Location: London - Chiswick and Harrow
Contract type: Part time
Closing date: 30 November 2025

The Opportunity

Casual Ballerz is a community-driven football organisation competing in Step 8 of the non-league pyramid for the first year, with the mission of helping young players from underserved communities unlock their potential — both in football and in life.

We are looking for a Technical Director of Football to be a bridge between the head coach, players, and wider organisation, upholding our high standards in training, matchday performance, and culture while our Director is based in the US.

  • An experienced coach wanting a meaningful side project, or a young, hungry coach with talent and ambition to step into the professional game.
  • Someone who may bring a core group of 5–8 players they’ve worked with before, to strengthen our squad immediately.
Your Impact

You will:

  • Protect the club’s playing identity by ensuring training and match standards stay at an elite level.
  • Support the head coach in session planning, tactical refinement, and recruitment.
  • Recruit and retain players through your own network and relationships.
  • Set and enforce culture standards: firm but fair, relatable, and inspiring to young people.
  • Be the link between football operations and other departments; media, medical, project development, and funding.
  • Help embed our community ethos: football is our tool, but changing lives is our mission.
Requirements
  • Minimum UEFA C / Level 2 coaching qualification or higher.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire young players aged 16–23.
  • Excellent communicator and people’s person and able to liaise across departments.
  • Commitment to all sessions and matches.
  • Either: Prior coaching experience and network, or high potential with a hunger to learn and progress.
  • Ability to bring a core group of players to strengthen the squad.
Why Join Us?
  • Real impact: Help transform the lives of young players from underserved communities.
  • Professional growth: Gain high-level experience that can propel you into academy or professional football roles.
  • Network access: Work alongside a diverse and talented football staff, with connections to many clubs in the non league system
  • Ownership: Your leadership will directly shape the team’s identity, style, and success.
