Job summary

Currys in Maidstone is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Colleague for a fixed-term Peak contract. 8 hours per week with flexibility for additional hours; pay £12.71 per hour plus an average bonus of 89p per hour, rising to £13.01 after probation.

No deep tech knowledge is required initially; a two to three day induction (virtual or at the Birmingham academy) helps you learn to sell, serve and support customers and to demonstrate products. Flexible weekend hours align with store needs.

Qualifications

• No prior in-depth tech knowledge required; two to three day induction either virtually or at Currys academy.
• Flexible across store opening hours, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ask the right questions to match customers with products.
• Make every customer interaction memorable.
• Offer delivery, installation, recycling and payment options.
• Contribute to overall store sales performance.
• Work across departments and product ranges.
• Assist with running the store by completing operational tasks.
