Job summary

ComputerXplorers is seeking a Part-time Tech Instructor to deliver engaging coding, robotics, digital art, and STEM lessons to primary school children at schools and clubs in South Buckinghamshire, including High Wycombe. On-site role requiring lesson prep, equipment setup, and guiding learners through structured activities.

You will communicate with school staff and caregivers, transport teaching materials, and uphold a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to interact effectively with children, caregivers, and school staff.
• Experience with Inventory Control and Shipping & Receiving to manage transport of educational equipment and materials between sites.
• Forklift Operation experience is beneficial for managing larger storage environments.
• Interest or experience in technology education, coding, robotics, digital art, or STEM subjects.
• Ability to travel between educational sites in High Wycombe and surrounding areas; must have a reliable car and valid driver’s license.
• Prior experience working with children in educational or extracurricular settings is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to work independently while following curriculum guidelines.

Role Description The Part-time Tech Instructor will deliver interactive technology lessons to children in small group settings at schools and clubs in South Buckinghamshire . This on-site role involves preparing lesson materials, setting up equipment, and guiding learners through structured activities in coding, robotics, digital art, and other STEM topics. The instructor will support learners of varying abilities, manage classroom behavior, and ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment. The role also includes communicating with school staff and caregivers, providing feedback on learner progress, and transporting teaching materials between locations, which requires access to a car.

Qualifications
