Job summary

Witchampton CE First School is seeking a Teaching Assistant G5 for a part-time, fixed-term role of 15 hours per week across 38 weeks per year. Salary shown is for 15 hours and 38 weeks, with start around 19-Oct-2026.

The position runs to 24-Mar-2027, with potential extension to the Easter/Summer terms. Ideal candidates will have previous TA experience, strong organisational skills, and the ability to liaise with staff, pupils and parents.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant is required.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage conflicting deadlines.
• Excellent communication with staff, pupils and parents.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in class and deliver targeted assistance as needed.
• Collaborate with school staff and Trust central team.
• Assist with lunchtime and classroom routines if required.
