Job summary

Armfield Academy, part of Fylde Coast Academy Trust (FCAT), is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 3 to support teaching and learning across the school. The role is permanent and part time (32.5 hours) with TT+ 5 days, and a pro rata salary from £20,672 to £22,034 per annum.

The successful candidate will work under the direction of a qualified teacher, contributing to a high-quality learning environment and supporting pupils across the age range. Closing date is 16 September 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils in classroom settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide learning activities for individuals and groups under the direction of a qualified teacher.
• Assess, record and report on development, progress and attainment as agreed with the teacher.
• Monitor and record pupil responses and learning achievements, raising issues with the teacher as needed.
• Contribute to planning learning activities with the teacher and write evaluations as required.
• Support pupils in social, health and emotional well-being and promote inclusive learning.
• Attend mandatory training and participate in development activities as required.
