Part-Time Early Years Teaching Assistant (Thursdays & Fridays) Inclusive Primary School – Near Hillingdon Station Location: Near Hillingdon Station, London Start Date: Thursday 11th September 2025 Working Days/Hours: Thursdays & Fridays | 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM Contract: Part-Time | Full Academic Year Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience About the Role A warm, inclusive mainstream primary school located just a short walk from Hillingdon Station is seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Part-Time Early Years Teaching Assistant to support in their Early Years classroom. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting young children, especially those with Autism (ASD) and ADHD, and who thrives in a nurturing, child-centred learning environment. You’ll work closely with the class teacher and SEND team to deliver 1:1 and small group support, adapt activities to individual needs, and help pupils thrive emotionally, socially, and academically. Some pupils may require support with personal care routines, including toilet training. Key Responsibilities -Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with ASD and ADHD -Support phonics and early literacy development -Help pupils develop communication, emotional regulation, and social interaction skills -Assist with personal care where needed, maintaining respect and dignity -Follow and help implement EHCPs and behaviour strategies -Work collaboratively with the class teacher, SENCO, and families What We’re Looking For - Experience working in Early Years, preferably in a school or nursery -Confidence in supporting children with Autism and/or ADHD - Familiarity with phonics schemes (Letters and Sounds, Read Write Inc.) -Calm, patient, and positive approach to learning and behaviour -Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – essential - Availability to work Thursdays and Fridays for the full academic year - A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years or Teaching Support is desirable but not essential for the right candidate Interview Dates: Interviews will take place during the first week of September 2025 Why Join This School? -Join a supportive, inclusive, and welcoming school community -Work in a well-resourced Early Years environment -Be part of a dedicated team committed to nurturing every child -Convenient location with excellent transport links via Hillingdon Station
