Job summary

Brightside Primary School in Billericay seeks a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for an immediate start. This permanent, part-time position runs 32.5 hours weekly, Monday to Friday, term-time only (44.6 weeks/year).

The HLTA will support teaching and learning, work with teachers, and assist pupils with diverse needs in a nurturing environment. The role requires excellent communication, a commitment to school values, and experience supporting children aged 4–11.

The Role - Higher Level Teaching Assistant

As an HLTA at Brightside Primary School, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. You will work closely with teachers to deliver high-quality learning experiences, support pupils' individual needs, and contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture.
