Job summary

East London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic Systemic Family Psychotherapist to join the Systemic Family Therapy Service in the Forensic Directorate. The post involves working across Medium and Low Secure units and the Forensic Outreach team, delivering specialist systemic interventions to service users, families and carers in inpatient and community settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist systemic and family psychotherapy to service users, families and carers in inpatient settings and in the community.
• Offer in-reach services to service users approaching discharge, collaborating with inpatient wards and community teams.
• Facilitate systemic case discussions, co-lead formulation meetings, and participate in risk meetings and seclusion reviews.
• Provide systemic consultation, supervision, training and guidance on psychological care.
• Contribute to teaching and training of MDT staff on principles of systemic psychotherapy, including live supervision and modelling.
• Contribute to service-wide innovations and represent systemic family therapy in forums and initiatives.
