Job summary

Places Leisure in Newport is seeking a friendly Swimming Teacher to deliver engaging lessons in a lively, community-focused club.

You will teach swimmers of all ages, work in groups or one-to-one, and contribute to high-quality class programming while using your UK-wide knowledge and passion for the sport.

UKCC Level 2 is required; Lifesaving qualifications (NPLQ/NRASTC) are advantageous and supported through our development programs.

Qualifications

• Must hold UKCC Level 2 or higher.
• Lifesaving qualification (NPLQ or NRASTC) advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming to learners of all ages in group and one-to-one settings.
• Deliver high-quality lessons with engaging class programming.
• Inspire customers and deliver excellent customer service during sessions.
• Support development of swimmers following the National Plan for Teaching Swimming.
