Une organisation de loisirs de premier plan recherche un professeur de natation à temps partiel pour diriger des leçons de natation. Le rôle implique de travailler avec des nageurs de tous niveaux, de suivre les progrès et de promouvoir les programmes de natation. Les candidats doivent avoir un certificat de niveau 1 et une formation en secourisme, avec une volonté de se former davantage.
CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent Part-Time
Post 1: 18.5 hours
Post 2: 10.5 hours per week

To lead and deliver learn to swim sessions to the standard outlined by Scottish Swimming (SASA) and the National Framework for Swimming. Adapt lessons as needed for different groups and individual needs.
Before confirming appointment, you will need to obtain PVG scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and join the relevant scheme.
Minimum Level 1 Certificate for Teaching Aquatics, with a commitment to qualify to UKCC Level 2 Teacher of Aquatics / ASA or equivalent within an agreed timescale.

Deliver engaging swimming lessons to children and adults of all abilities, following the Scottish Swimming Learn to Swim programme.
Use assessment methods to monitor and record swimmers' progress, aligned with the LTAD Swimmer Pathway.
Promote the Fife Sports and Leisure Trust Learn to Swim programme and other services.
Participate in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and additional training as per the employee development scheme.
Follow FSLT guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Ensure health and safety procedures are observed, especially when working with vulnerable groups.
Experience in delivering swimming lessons to all ages and abilities.
Familiarity with Scottish Swimming Learn to Swim or equivalent programs.
Ability to work with swimmers from beginners to stroke development.
Experience liaising with parents and grouping swimmers by ability.
Effective communication skills with swimmers, parents, and team members.
Understanding of health and safety in swimming lessons.
Ability to mentor UKCC Level 1 Teachers or Assistant Teachers.
Enthusiastic, confident, and motivating.
Excellent communication skills, outgoing, and innovative.
Adaptable, positive, and punctual.
Team player with the ability to listen and respond quickly.
