Job summary

Queen’s College, Taunton is seeking an enthusiastic School Swimming Coach to deliver engaging sessions for pupils of all abilities, helping them develop confidence, technique and a love of swimming.

You will plan, deliver and supervise lessons, training sessions and galas, while prioritising safety, wellbeing and inclusivity for every pupil.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering swimming lessons across varied ages/abilities.
• Ability to promote water confidence, fitness and competitive performance.
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and supervise swimming lessons, training sessions and galas.
• Prepare pupils for competitions and foster a positive, inclusive swimming environment.
• Lead morning activity sessions and monitor safety during pool activities.

Queen's College, Taunton seek a swim coach. The School Swimming Coach is responsible for planning, delivering, and supervising swimming lessons, training sessions, performance development sessions, swimming galas, and morning activity sessions for pupils of varying ages and abilities. The role focuses on developing swimming skills, water confidence, fitness, and competitive performance while ensuring the highest standards of safety, safeguarding, and student wellbeing. The coach will support pupils in achieving their individual and team goals, prepare swimmers for competitions and galas, and promote a positive, inclusive, and engaging swimming environment.
