Radis Community Care has an opportunity for Support Workers to join our team based in Oakmere Extra Care Service, Handforth.

Part-time positions available - minimum of 16 hours a week

£12.50 per hour weekdays, £12.80 per hour weekend days and Bank Holidays, with a £1 per hour uplift

About the role

As a Support Worker in our Extra Care Scheme, you will predominantly support elderly individuals who are experiencing difficulties due to physical frailty, helping them maintain independence. Responsibilities include assisting with mobility, supporting them to dine, participate in social activities, and access their bedrooms as needed.

The role involves personal care activities such as washing, dressing, and personal hygiene. You will also engage residents in recreational and social activities, promoting mental and physical stimulation.

Our aim is to promote independence, choice, dignity, and respect, ensuring the highest standards of support.
