Job summary

Bield Housing and Care is recruiting a Support Worker in Edinburgh, delivering in-home care to service users. The role focuses on enabling independence, assisting with daily tasks, and promoting wellbeing in a compassionate team environment.

Applicants should have good communication skills and be willing to work lone-working with a strong commitment to high-quality support. SVQ 2 in Health and Social Care is preferred or achievable, with SSSC registration within six months.

Qualifications

• SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, or willingness to work towards this qualification.
• Willing to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within six months of commencing employment
• Experience in care is desirable but not essential; values and a genuine interest in helping others are important.
