Job Title: Support Worker – Meldreth Manor

Location: Meldreth, Nr. Royston - Cambridgeshire / Hertfordshire

Contract Type: Permanent, Part Time, minimum hours per week

Hours: We have a variety of shifts that could work for you

No experience necessary, full training given and fully funded study for Level 3 qualification.

About Meldreth Manor

We are currently looking for a number of Support Workers in Meldreth, Nr. Royston (South Cambridgeshire / North Hertfordshire border), where our Aurora Meldreth Manor children’s home and school provides education, care, and therapeutic support for children and young people aged 9- years with severe and profound communication difficulties associated with conditions such as cerebral palsy, autism, brain injury, and degenerative disorders.

Key Duties
  1. Providing exceptional high levels of care during all daily activities such as washing, dressing, socialising, learning, washing/personal care.
  2. Assisting with therapy sessions such as hydrotherapy and rebound therapy.
  3. Communicating effectively and building strong relationships that will empower the children and young adults to grow and develop.
  4. Ensuring that the environment is safe, supportive, and enjoyable.
  5. Helping develop their learning and social skills wherever possible.

Although no experience is required, we are looking for candidates to demonstrate:
