Job summary

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland in Dumfries is recruiting for Part-time Support Practitioners. This role is 20 hours per week with evening and weekend shifts, no prior care experience required as we hire on values and transferable skills.

You will receive full training including a funded SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care and ongoing in-house development. A UK Driving Licence for a manual vehicle and access to your own car are required for this post.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required; we recruit on values and transferable skills.
• Part-time role with 20 hours per week; evening and weekend work required.
• Female applicants only; UK Driving Licence for manual vehicles and access to own car required.
• Comprehensive training provided, including fully funded SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
• PVG and references required; must register with the SSSC within 3 months of start.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals to live independently in their own homes.
• Assist with medication, general housework, meal preparation and personal care.
• Provide social support and accompany individuals to hobbies/events.
