Job summary

Cornerstone is seeking a part-time Support Practitioner to help people with disabilities live life to the fullest through activities like swimming, gym visits, cinema trips, and community outings. No two days are the same as you support daily tasks and independence.

You will receive full training, SVQ funding, and help with PVG/SSSC registrations, plus the chance to grow within a compassionate team. A UK manual driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• No experience required; qualities matter more than background.
• Full training will be provided and paid.
• SVQ (SCQF Level 6/7) qualification funded by the company.
• PVG and SSSC registration fees covered; must register with SSSC within 3 months.
• Possession of a full UK manual driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Support people to get out, have fun and live life to the fullest (activities listed).
• Assist with shopping, cooking, appointments, finances, medicine, household tasks and personal care.
• Work with water-based activities and assist with swimming when needed.
