Job summary

Cornerstone is seeking a compassionate Support Practitioner for a part-time role (16 hours per week) across Motherwell and Wishaw. You will help with daily living tasks, accompany individuals to activities, and support independence in a respectful, person-centered way.

No experience required; comprehensive training is provided, and SVQ (SCQF Level 6/7) along with PVG and SSSC registration fees are funded by the employer, with opportunities for development within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; full training provided.
• SVQ SCQF Level 6/7 funded by employer.
• PVG and SSSC fees funded and supported for registration.

Responsibilities

• Support people with daily activities: shopping, cooking, appointments, finances, medication, household tasks, personal care.
• Assist with college attendance and participate in everyday outings and activities.
• Provide companionship during activities like swimming, gym, cinema trips, meals and social events.
