Job summary

Charles Hunter Associates is seeking a Supervising Social Worker for our fostering service covering Somerset, Devon, and North Somerset. This is a permanent, part-time role (3 days a week) with hybrid working (office once a month).

You will hold a Diploma/Degree in Social Work and have right to work in the UK. You will supervise a caseload of four foster families, work with multi-agency teams, and contribute to compliance and reporting while supporting the panel process.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Social Work required.
• Right to work in the UK (no VISA sponsorship).
• Up-to-date understanding of fostering legislation.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting, assessing, matching & training prospective foster carers.
• Supervising a caseload of 4 foster families.
• Working collaboratively within a multi-agency team.
• Upkeeping all relevant compliance & reports.
• Attending in fostering panel meetings.
